 Underground cables and
pipes carry vital services such as internet, cable tv, telephone, water,
electricity, gas and more - damaging them can cause widespread disruption
and in some cases isolate entire communities from these essential basic
services we usually take for granted. For example damaging a cable or pipe
could mean isolating a community from emergency services such as fire,
police or ambulance.
Damaging the underground
network also causes inconvenience for everyone affected, including

of causing damage to the underground pipes and cables you can face hefty
fines/costs.
Before doing any digging
in and around your yard simply call the local utilities such as Cable TV,
Tel, Gas and Hydro, they will schedule someone to come out and locate any
of their services, and is usually free.
